SEKULARISME DAN LIBERALISME : SATU PEGANGAN SEMPIT

WHEN you lose your religion, meaning that you're losing your head.
When you lose your head, better you die
and you will know how much the hell is missing you

Liberal. Sekular. Sempit. Maka ini komentar saya:

Dr.Faisal; I've been read this post and I've got the notions. Ignorance is relevant not in all situations. Here, the issue is the anti-Islamic people with the Mohammed's caricature. The issue is sensitive and I don't agree with the post stated that we should ignore this matter.
As a Muslim we have our own pride. The prophet is our pride. So we should protect and defend it. The other matters stated in that post might be called non-pride issues to that group of people whereby, they kept silence, ignore, and no defence.

The blooger should understand that different people have different belief, do the different things, come from the different background.
The blogger may be look at this matter as 'what a shit to be considered?'. But, he need to understand and be an open-minded person that this world is too wide, there are so many people, and there are so many principes.
It sames to go with the issue of 11/9 whereby it emerges the misunderstanding that Islam is the religion of terrorism.Should we keep silence or should we try to clarify our true identity? I believe that most of Muslim will say we should have the locus standi (the rights to stand and speak for ourself) to clarify the truth. It is not the matter of bursting out the fury but it is the matter of defence.
Why the prophet just keep silent when people of Musyrikin started to torture him? It is because the prophet thought that he himself faced the agony and suffering by the act of kafirun not the religion of Islam. He still went to the war to protect and defend the religion of Islam. For a prophet, it is okay if he suffering and facing the torture on himself but there's no way for Islam to confront the jibe.
In a nutshell, silence is golden just for any relevant matters, defence is always relevant to our pride and our identity.

I will say; it is bullshit!
